 The NCFG Apprentice Workshop will be held this year in the wonderful surroundings of Dan Nicholas Park, one of the premier

recreational parks in the piedmont of North Carolina.

Learn much of the basic knowledge needed to pass the State Falconry Exam and build a good foundation for becoming a practicing falconer. Topics to be discussed include regulations, raptor ID, husbandry for birds of prey, equipment for falconry, manning, training, entering a hawk on quarry, what to expect your first year in the sport, and much more. Program will be taught by a number of experienced falconers from across the state.
